Holistic approach
A “holistic”approach is a common theme in the Montessori philosophy. We consider the whole person for maximum growth and development. Our learning environment addresses many needs of our students, not just those of an academic nature, but also the physical, emotional and social needs. The Montessori method also emphasizes “connectedness.” This encourages our students to understand and embrace the wonderfully rich interconnections of life.

Newest program
Del Mar Montessori School is now a registered NSDA (National Speech and Debate Association) school. Our students are competing in Public Forum events on the National Circuit. In the process, they are learning about issues that affect our world today, and they are honing their analytical and critical thinking skills.
